Get ready to come face to face with the massive endangered Grey Nurse Shark as you take the plunge on this diving adventure appropriate for all experience levels. You will see huge turtles, stingrays, fish and smaller species of sharks as you swim right up beside them.
Come face to face with huge critically endangered Grey Nurse Sharks, sea turtles, stingrays and a vast array of other marine life. Experienced instructors will prepare you by teaching the basics of SCUBA diving in the classroom and training pool so you feel confident before meeting the sharks. The 2.5 hour experience includes a 30 minute dive in Shark Harbour, the 4 million litre ocean tank. Friends and family are able to watch all the action from the underwater viewing tunnel.

Ferry: From Wharf 3 at Circular Quay the Manly Ferry crosses Sydney Harbour to Manly every 30 minutes (every 20 minutes during some peak periods). The ferry takes exactly 30 minutes to make the journey from wharf to wharf.
Rail / Bus: From Sydney take a train on the Northern or North Shore Line from Central, Town Hall or Wynyard. Get off at North Sydney and change to any bus headed for Neutral Bay (175, 178, 184, 202, 203, 207-209, 227-230, 247). Once on Military Road, alight at the first stop and stay there. Look out for the 143 or 144 bus which will take you over Spit Bridge to Manly Wharf in approx 20 minutes. Total travel from the city centre is around 40 minutes.
Car: Coming from the north, join Pittwater Road and stay on it all the way to Manly. At Warringah Mall, Pittwater Road turns to the left which is clearly signposted. From Sydney, cross the SydneyHarbour Bridge, and take the Manly exit from the Warringah Expressway, and follow the signs.
Shark Dive Xtreme is available 7 days a week with 3-4 sessions every day.
Sessions time are as follows:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday- 9.00am, 1.00pm, 3.30pm
Tuesday, Thursday- 9.00am, 11.30am, 2.00pm
Saturday, Sunday- 9.00am, 11.30am, 2.00pm, 4.30pm
Additional Cost: Optional In-water photos are available to view and purchase following the dive. Various pricing packages are available.
Scuba Diving is physically demanding and can be dangerous if you suffer from certain medical conditions. It is very important that you, the diver, do not suffer from any contraindications to diving.
Here is a list of medical conditions that may prohibit you from taking part in the Shark Dive for your own safety.
Asthma Heart Disease Epilepsy Diabetes, Chest Conditions incl. Pneumothorax Sinus Conditions Ear problems/surgery High blood pressure Pregnancy (Pregnant woman are not permitted to dive).
If you suffer from or have suffered from any of the above medical conditions OR If you suffer from any other medical conditions, including recent injuries, surgeries or psychological conditions then you will be required to obtain a fully completed medical clearance from your doctor prior to booking in for the dive.
