This Luxury Tour will help you to explore the Blue Mountains as they should be seen – from secluded lookouts, short bushwalks and pristine valleys that let you take in this million-acre wilderness area.
The most relaxing way to see the stunning Blue Mountains! We will be travelling on a luxury coach around to all of the beautiful sites in the area, focusing on more secluded lookouts so you can get the most beautiful pictures without any crowds in the way. Our tour will give you plenty of time to discover the stunning flora that make up the botanic gardens, marvel at the rock formations that make up the famous 3 sisters and explore the quaint mountainside towns. One of the highlights of the tour is the visit to the Waradah Aboriginal Centre for an authentic cultural experience, including a didgeridoo performance and an informative discussion about the significance of the area for the traditional land owners.
We will also be spending some time at Wentworth Falls, where you can wander along one of their awesome hiking tracks or simply relax and admire the beautiful waterfall. On our way back to Sydney you will have the option of partaking in a spectacular harbour cruise to wrap up the day.
We begin at the beautiful cliff-top Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens, with an opportunity to understand Australia's unique landscapes. See ancient pines and some of the oldest flowering plants on earth, while relaxing with a light morning tea of hot drink and the traditional lamington cakes.
From here we travel on to take in views of the Grose Valley, seeing massive sandstone escarpments, & the famous blue tinge for which the area is named.
At Echo Point, beside the famous Three Sisters rock formation, we visit Waradah Aboriginal Culture Centre for an insight into this fascinating ancient culture with a dynamic dance performance by Gundungurra warriors.
At lunchtime we stop at the quaint mountains town of Leura - a great place to wander to enjoy the shops & galleries. We keep things flexible, allowing you to upgrade to our Cafe lunch option, or do your own thing.
In the afternoon our flexible itinerary allows us to take in the variety of views and walks at the spectacular Wentworth Falls, tailored to the time, the day and the group.
In the evening we return to the city by vehicle, or you may choose to join the wonderful Harbour Cruise (included) departing from the site of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
